WEARABLE TECH RESEARCH LAB + FITNESS CENTER PROPOSED DESIGN
san francisco
With a long term planning strategy in mind, my ongoing client wanted to develop a unique program for this stand alone building that was to become part of their urban office campus environment. Located blocks from the main headquarter buildings, they wanted to create a unique facility that was on brand and a point of interest for all employees -- a fitness research facility for employees and study participants where new products could be developed and tested as the company grew.
The full project team consisted of our architectural/interiors team, a fitness facility expert team, a mechanical/electrical/ plumbing team and a partnered general contractor. Developed as a design-build partnership with the client. The project was designed and planned through design development for pricing, budgeting and funding rounds with share holders and board members over the course of one year.
Unfortunately, this project has not be realized as this original design was developed. However, a modified and scale back version has been developed in the same location.
